How long do refunds take?

Where uCheck can issue a refund, this will always be returned to the original payment method. We process our refunds once a week on a Monday, and you can expect your refund to reach you from 3-10 working days after the first Monday following your refund being agreed depending on who you bank with.

Applicant Pay

If you withdraw an application that has been paid for by the applicant before this has been approved and entered the vetting process, the action of withdrawing the application will automatically trigger a refund to the applicant.

Applications in Progress

Once an application has entered the vetting process, the DBS will not issue a refund should there be something wrong with it. If there is an error on an application and it requires withdrawing, the fee for the application is forfeited and a new application is to be completed should it still be required.
